BSc Biodiversity and Conservation Biology (UWC)
Kim Daniels joined the PCU team in April 2019 as the DST-NRF intern for the rest of the year. In this capacity she hopes to gain more practical experience and aims to contribute her skills to the team. She will also be assisting rePhoto SA since she is interested in landscape change over time.
Since graduating from the University of the Western Cape with a BSc in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology in April 2018, she has worked to improve her botanical knowledge by volunteering at nature reserves in the City of Cape Town. She has also learnt more about horticulture and ex situ conservation through previous work at Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden. She hopes to specialise in the conservation of arid adapted plants in her future studies.
